In 2006, Ronald began to post the first videos of himself on YouTube, which were initially only intended for fun. Under this name he produced the album straight laced in 2005. The FL Studio program aroused new enthusiasm in him, with the help of which he began to publish his first pieces under the pseudonym Big Cheez in 2003. In high school, even though he was unable to read music, the band leader let him compose his own keyboard pieces. Nevertheless, he continued to play on his new Yamaha PSR-500 and began using the keyboard's sequencer and layer functions, with the results of which he created hip-hop music. During the seventh grade he took piano lessons, which however did not prove to be successful. On this keyboard he learned simple melodies and played with friends. Some of his songs are also featured in the game Sequence (available on Steam).According to his own statements, he started playing music at the age of four when he was given a keyboard by his parents during a hospital stay. Ronald Jenkees continues to post videos on YouTube and has released his second album, Disorganized Fun, as both a digital download and a physical CD on his website. In June 2009, Jenkees was featured on the STS9 album, "Peaceblaster: The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes," producing a remix of "Beyond Right Now". A physical CD was released shortly thereafter and album also became available on iTunes. In June 2007, Jenkees was tapped to compose the theme to Simmons' podcast "The BS Report." The piece, titled "Derty", was later issued on his self-titled first album, which was made available for purchase on his website in July 2007. His fans grew in number again after he was mentioned in a column by writer Bill Simmons. Jenkees's popularity grew significiantly after he was Dugg by a user on a site called on the 17th March 2007. Jenkees also provides motivational text and tips to others who make music.
